Dear Professors, Principal Investigators, Lab Managers, and Admissions Professionals,
Supervisors can make or break a student’s university experience. They are often the gatekeepers to academic opportunity and among the people most likely to inspire students to pursue excellence in academia and beyond.
The traditional framework for international student admissions and recruitment is being fundamentally reshaped by rapid developments in technology, changing government policies, and increasing global competition for talent.
I believe this new environment requires a more active role for professors, principal investigators, and lab managers in identifying and recruiting talent for their institutions, while international admissions offices continue to provide the essential administrative and institutional support that makes enrollment possible.
My name is Bouchaib Chkaif, PhD. My academic work in higher education has focused on international student mobility. I founded Admissions365 to address some of the major challenges in the recruitment, discovery, matching, and cultivation of international students.
Admissions365 brings the different sides of international recruitment together:
Students can discover universities, programs, scholarships, and research supervisors.
Professors, PIs, and lab managers can create profiles, identify promising Master’s, PhD, and postdoctoral candidates, and connect with students whose interests align with their research.
Universities and admissions offices can discover prospective students, promote programs, and invite suitable candidates to apply.
AI helps connect these groups by understanding what students are looking for and helping institutions and supervisors identify potentially relevant candidates.
I would therefore like to personally invite professors, PIs, lab managers, admissions offices, and universities around the world to join Admissions365 and give it a try.
Admissions365 is still growing, and your participation and feedback can help us build a platform that better serves students, researchers, supervisors, and universities.
I hope it can help you discover talented students, build stronger research teams, and achieve your international recruitment goals.
Best regards,
Bouchaib Chkaif, PhD
